ShopSavvy: Shout Out
The gunslingers over at Big in Japan have managed to hustle their way into the Crunchies. In the tech world, a Crunchy is comparable to an Oscar, Pulitzer, Grammy, Nobel, or even MTV’s coveted MoonMan. Their fiercest competitors are the varmints over at Google or the “please email your congressman, so the government won’t raise the rates on internet radio” panhandlers at Pandora.
Here in Tokyo we are hoping for a David vs. Goliath or a Craig vs. Deebo outcome.
If you’ve been sleep (and yes, I know that’s not grammatically correct, but I’m trying to keep it street), here is a quick refresher: ShopSavvy is an intuitive shopping application on the Android platform that provides price comparisons via the scanning of barcodes.
